2. Phone is switched off

If the phone is switched off, it can cause this problem of the number you are trying to reach is not reachable though in most cases what the caller will hear is the number you’re trying to call is switched off. 

I’ve seen a case whereby the phone was switched off, instead of the network to specify the number is switched off, they said the the number you are trying to reach is not reachable while in the real sense phone was switched off.

3. The number you are trying to call is not reachable caused by a blocked phone number

This is usually the case though not so common. If the person you’re calling blocked your phone number, you may get this error message at your end though most times you won’t hear anything from the network.

1. Contact the person through social messaging app

This is one of the best solution for this problem of the number you are trying to call is not reachable, as I use it most times I couldn’t someone through the cellular network.

If calling the person and it states not reachable at your end, kindly use the likes of whatsapp, telegram, Skype and try to reach the person.

I prefer sending the person messages or chats than going for a voice call or video call. If the problem is caused by a poor network coverage, video call shouldn’t be on the list cause it will not work because of the poor network connection.

Either you send the person a chat message or use the voice call feature to contact the person. I recommend sending a message cause the voice call may not go through as well because of poor network connection.

2. Use the phone message app to reach the person

If calling a person is not going through and you kept on getting the number you are trying to call is not reachable, kindly send the person a message using the cellular network and not the social messaging apps.

The person will tend to receive the messages even with the poorest network connection or coverage than receiving a call. So definitely the call will go through, and notify the person that you have been trying to call him or her but to no avail.

If still the message did not go through eve after many hours, either the person’s phone is switched off or probably he or she has blocked your phone number.

If you feel the person blocked your phone number, kindly use another phone number to call the person or send a chat message viw whatsapp or any other.
