How many times does the phone ring when you are blocked? Answered

Do you feel the person you are calling has probably blocked you on it’s cell phone?

You may have a point especially if you kept on calling and nothing is going through or probably you are always redirected straight to the voicemail.

In this article we’ll be looking at one of the question being asked when it comes to blocking someone on a cell phone.

The question of the day is;

How many times does the phone ring when you are blocked?

The straight answer is the phone will never ring if you have been blocked by the recipient as it will automatically redirect you straight to voicemail.

Yes, that’s the answer.

Whether you have an android phone or the iPhone don’t expect the phone to ring one or twice before you got to know that you have been blocked by the recipient. The truth here is that when you have been blocked by the recipient, immediately you dialed the phone number it will automatically move you straight to the voicemail.

Now the second question is;

What if there’s no voicemail?

If there’s no voicemail in the recipient phone it will show number busy on the callers phone, and which will make the caller into believing that the recipient is busy on it’s cell phone while in the real sense the recipient is not busy but rather has blocked the caller.

For a detailed explanation on how many times does the phone ring when you are blocked, I will explain it based on my experience with android (Samsung) and my iPhone.

On Android

Blocking someone on android is pretty much easy just like it is on iPhone. Now you have been calling someone and which wouldn’t go through or probably ring just once and redirect you to voicemail.

Truly you may have been blocked by the recipient.

On android, a phone might ring just once when blocked by the recipient especially if you are using a Samsung Galaxy phone.

From my experience, if the recipient has an active voicemail on it’s cellphone, the phone will not ring once but will immediately redirect the caller straight to voicemail.

Now if the recipient doesn’t have an active voicemail on it’s cell phone the call might ring just once, and immediately it will display user busy on the caller’s phone.

If you happen to see this while trying to call someone using an android phone, I’m sorry you have been blocked by the recipient and not that the recipient is busy.

On android or Samsung phone, if someone is on a call and you called the person’s number, what you will see is call waiting and not user busy. Immediately you see call waiting, you should know that the person is on another call.

On the other hand, the person will see your incoming call and may decide to put the other call on hold to receive your call.

How many times does the phone ring when you are blocked on iPhone?

On iPhone, the phone doesn’t ring but will redirect the caller straight to voicemail if applicable or show user busy if there’s no active voicemail on the recipient phone.

If you are blocked on iPhone and the recipient has an active voicemail, be rest assured that the phone will not ring or even beep for a second but will instead redirect you straight to voicemail.

In a situation whereby the recipient has no active voicemail on it’s iPhone, the call will not go through or will the phone ring but instead the call will show user busy and end immediately. No matter how hard you try to call the person this is what you kept on getting.

Going back to the question being asked on how many times does the phone ring when you are blocked, you may not be necessarily blocked by the recipient if the phone happens to ring once, twice or three times. It may be caused by poor network reception or the recipient simply ignoring your call.

When to believe you have been blocked by the recipient

If you have been calling the person and which beep once or ring just once and the calls ends or redirect you to voicemail, you may have been blocked by the person.

However, if this happens on multiple occasions and different times then it is a strong indication that the recipient might have blocked your number. You can enroll for google voice, get an assigned phone number and use the number to call the person once again.

If the call goes through then it literally means the recipient indeed blocked your number.

You can use any phone number around you to try and contact the recipient and see if it will go through or probably ring once and gets cut-off.

Can you tell if someone blocked your number?

The straight answer is yes. You can you tell if someone blocked your number is when you called the person and the call redirect you to voicemail or show user busy.

Like I said earlier, this is both applicable to android phone and iPhone.

You have been calling this particular contact on your cellphone and which will automatically redirect you to straight to voicemail, I’m sorry bro or sis because you have been blocked by the person.

Once again it didn’t redirect you voicemail but rather show user busy on your cellphone, it is a strong indication that you have been blocked by the recipient.

It is very easy to know if someone you have been calling or texting blocked your number on it’s cellphone.

Will a blocked phone still ring?

The simple answer is no. A blocked phone will never ring be it iPhone or android phone.

Going back to the topic of the post on how many times does the phone ring when you are blocked, kindly note that if you call someone and it rang for once, twice or three times it simply means you are not blocked but instead the recipient is simply ignoring your call.

So trying to find out if at all will phone ring if blocked iPhone, kindly note that iPhone will not ring when blocked by the recipient instead it will redirect you to voicemail or show user busy.
