2. Restart your samsung phone

3. Clear data and cache from the galaxy store app
This is another sure method to resolve galaxy store urgent software update on samsung phones, by clearing cache and data files.
You don’t need to be afraid of clearing data from the galaxy store app, you can still sign in using your samsung account.
Remember, your samsung account will not be deleted and everything will remain intact and untouched.
Clearing data on the galaxy store app is to reset the app and it helps a lot in fixing this type of problem in a mobile app.
All you need to do is to open the settings app, scroll down to apps and tap to open. Search for galaxy store on the list and open it as well.
Tap on storage and look below your screen, you will see clear data and clear cache just like on the picture below.
Tap on both clear data and clear cache buttons to clear data files and cached files from the galaxy store app on your samsung phone.
Now go to the app drawer and open the galaxy store app. Using your samsung account, sign in into the app and everything will return to normal and you will never receive any issues or bug like samsung galaxy store urgent software update on your mobile phone.
4. Force stop the galaxy store app
If you don’t fancy using the samsung galaxy store app on your samsung phone, and prefers to use the google play store, you can force stop the galaxy store app.
In recent samsung phones especially the flagship phones, you cannot disable the galaxy store app but rather uninstall updates or force stop the app.
If you restrict the app from running in the background, you won’t receive galaxy store urgent software update on your samsung phone. So all you need to do is to force stop the galaxy store app and restrict it from running in the background.
To force the app, open the settings app and scroll down to app. Tap to open apps and search for galaxy store on the list.
Upon seeing it, tap to open it. Look below your screen and you will see a force stop button.
Tap on the force stop button, accept the warning notice and tap ok. You have successfully forced stopped the galaxy store app on your samsung phone, and further prevents the app from being active or running in the background.
Remember, immediately you opened the app on your mobile phone, it will become active again and starts to run in the background.
5. You can also put the galaxy store app into a deep sleeping apps mode or maybe the sleeping apps mode.
Remember, when you put an app into a deep sleeping apps mode or the sleeping apps mode, you won’t receive any notifications or updates from the app because the app is not active in the background.
This is similar to force stopping an app though the app will goes back into a deep sleep immediately you closed the app on your mobile phone.
