Blocking someone on iPhone or android phone
When it comes to blocking someone on your android phone or iPhone, you should know that it doesn’t involve the cellular network service but rather your cellphone.
What it means is that if you have a Samsung galaxy phone and blocked a particular number or contact on your phone, you haven’t blocked the number on your sim card.
Now what this means is that if you remove your sim card from your Samsung galaxy phone to another phone be it an android phone, iPhone, or even another Samsung galaxy phone, the blocked number will be able to call you.
If you switch the sim card back to your Samsung Galaxy phone, the blocked number won’t be able to call you.
I’m saying this to let you know that blocking a number only works on the phone on which you blocked the number. Once you remove your sim card from the phone and insert it into another phone, the blocked number will be able to call you. In this type of situation, you have to keep on blocking the person if you’re switching your sim card to another phone.
This also applies to iPhones.
If you block someone on your iPhone 13 pro max and afterward switch your sim card to iPhone 14 pro max, kindly note that the blocked person will be able to call you until you block the number on the iPhone 14 pro max.
Generally, when you block someone on your phone, know that it only involves the phone and not the sim card or the cellular network service. Once you switch your sim card to another phone, the blocked number will be able to call you.
All you have to do is to keep on blocking the number if you’re fond of switching sim cards.
So asking how is a blocked number still calling me on iPhone, it is because you switched your sim card to another iPhone or the blocked number uses the no caller id feature.
