How do I know if my text was delivered android?
To know if a sent text message was delivered to the recipient on android phone, you will see delivered below or beside the sent message but you must have delivery report enabled in your android phone.
By default delivery report is not enabled on android phone and you will have to do that by yourself else you won’t receive delivery report after sending a text message on your android phone.
To enable delivery report on your android phone you will first open the message app, tap on settings followed by advanced though depending on your android phone message app.
I’m using the Google messages app.
Now when you tap on advanced you will see where it states Get sms delivery reports just like on the picture below.
Make sure to enable get sms delivery reports so as to be able to receive delivery reports after sending a text message in your android phone.
After you must have enabled the delivery report, send a text message and within few seconds you will receive a delivery report which is usually below or beside the sent text message.
