Imessage is one of best means of sending messages across and the best part being able to send pictures, videos and documents without compressing the files just like other instant messaging services like whatsapp and Co.
When sending iMessages to a recipient there are certain things we look out for and that is the imessage being sent, delivered and the imessage being read by the recipient. Also will imessage say delivered if phone has no service .
If an imessage doesn’t say delivered we get worried simply because it means lots of things especially bring blocked by the recipient.
Now what of the case where by you as the recipient doesn’t have a network service and you would like to know if at all imessage will say delivered, this bring us to the question of the day.
Will imessage say delivered if phone has no service?
Imessage will say delivered if phone has no service as long as the phone has an active internet connection like Wi-Fi, and whereas imessage requires internet connection and not cellular network service.
You can only concern if will imessage say delivered if phone has no service in the aspect that you are using a cellular data. If you are using a Wi-Fi there’s nothing to worry about because imessages being an instant messaging service will be delivered.
Where the problem of imessage not being able to get delivered is when you don’t have an active internet connection on your mobile phone. So if you are using a cellular data for your iMessage and you don’t have service in your phone, be rest assured that imessage won’t be delivered.
If you have an active Wi-Fi there’s no reason to worry about cause definitely imessage will be delivered on your iPhone or Apple device.
When imessage doesn’t say delivered
You shouldn’t care about imessage not being delivered because of no service as it is the least thing that will prevent imessages from getting delivered.
With internet connection you are good to go.
Now if an imessage doesn’t say delivered after sending to a recipient especially on multiple occasions, there are certain things that you should know.
They are as follows;
1. The recipient has no internet
I know why I’m stressing this because newbies thinks that imessage requires or involves network service but that isn’t entirely the case because you can use Wi-Fi for your iMessage.

2. The recipient imessage is not active
This may look surprising to you but there are some ios users that don’t make use if imessage and prefer to use the likes of whatsapp, Skype, Facebook messenger and other instant messaging apps to send instant messages.
I’ve seen a friend that disabled imessage on it’s iPhone simply because he doesn’t fancy using it.
Now if an imessage is disabled in an iphone, imessages will never get delivered to this very recipient as the messages will fail to get delivered. At first you may think the recipient has blocked you on it’s imessage but that isn’t the case especially if you are able to call the recipient number.
3. The recipient blocked your ID
This is one of the major reason why imessages doesn’t get delivered especially if you sent it on multiple occasions, it is a strong indication that you have been blocked by the recipient.
However, you can’t really tell until you confirm it.
To do so simply use another apple ID and send an imessage to the person and if it gets delivered then truly you have been blocked by the person.
Please don’t conclude that someone blocked you on imessage without confirming it cause it may be that the recipient imessage is disabled or the person has no active internet connection.
These are the major reasons why imessage doesn’t say delivered and you shouldn’t be concerned if at all will imessage say delivered if phone has no service unless you are not using Wi-Fi but rather a cellular network data.

iMessage says delivered but phone is off
If imessage says delivered but phone is off then it means that the recipient apple ID is connected to other devices like iPad, Mac or the ipod and this makes the imessage to get delivered.
Imessage is very much different from other instant messaging services like whatsapp, Skype, Facebook messenger, telegram, etc because once you connect your apple ID to a multiple device and imessage is active on these devices, it will get delivered irrespective of the fact your iPhone is switched off.
For example: You have both the iPhone and Mac computer and your Apple ID is connected to these two devices, then Imessage is active on both your iPhone and your mac computer.
Now if your iPhone is switched off while your Mac computer is on and running with an active internet connection, and someone sent an imessage to you, the imessage will be received in your Mac computer.
Immediately you have received the imessage it will indicate delivered on the side of the sender irrespective of the fact your iPhone is switched off.
This usually gets some people confused as to why imessage says delivered but calls won’t go through. It’s so simple and that is because the recipient connected it’s apple ID to multiple devices and they are active whilst the recipient iphone is switched off.
Will iMessage say delivered if blocked?
Imessage will never say delivered if you’re blocked by the recipient, instead the imessage will not go through and you will see not delivered below the sent imessage.
Once you are blocked on imessage, text message, whatsapp, Skype, Facebook messenger or any other instant messaging apps the sent message will never get delivered because the message will not go through.
Don’t expect imessage to get delivered if you have been blocked by the recipient unless you will use another apple ID to send another imessages to the recipient.
You shouldn’t bother asking if at all will imessage say delivered if phone has no service as long as you have an active internet connection like Wi-Fi unless you are using a cellular mobile data for your internet services.
