Now is time to upload the mp3 file. Open the google drive app and tap on the plus button. You will see a list of available options which include upload buttons.
Tap on upload button and locate the mp3 file on your iPhone. Tap on it and it will immediately upload the mp3 file straight to your google drive.
If you have multiple mp3 files on your iPhone then you have to mark all of them and upload them to your Google drive account.
Once again open the app store, look for an mp3 app called Offline music and kindly download and install the app on your iPhone.
Once you have done that, oopen the offline music app on your iPhone and look below the app you will see list of options which includes import button.
Tap on import and on the next window tap on from cloud sources and select Google drive. Sign in and tap continue.
Select your preferred Google account if you have multiple on your iPhone and it will open your google drive displaying files uploaded to your Google drive.
Select all the mp3 files uploaded to your google drive and import them into the offline music app. Afterwards tap on tracks and you will see all the mp3 files you imported into the offline music app.

Cloud music player
This is another good quality app if you are looking for how to play mp3 on iphone. It works similar to offline music app above which you can import songs from cloud sources or transfer from your computer.
To get started, download and install Cloud music player and open the application.
Tap on sources, at first you will see Wi-Fi transfer but you have to tap on other sources and select Google drive.
It will open your google drive and display all the uploaded files in your google drive including the mp3 files. Select all the mp3 files and it will start to download all of them straight into the cloud music player app.

To play mp3 on iphone with iTunes, first, you have to make sure that you have these requirements available with you;
- A Mac or PC with the MP3 or AAC file and the latest version of iTunes installed.
- A USB lightning cable which you will use to connect to your iPhone, or maybe an iTunes Match
Getting started, you’ll have to add it to your iTunes music library and this is pretty much easy to do.
Open iTunes and go to the Music section (in the upper left) and then select Library.
How to play mp3 on iphone without itunes
To play mp3 on iphone without itunes, you have to upload the mp3 file(s) to any of the cloud services like Google drive, Dropbox, Onedrive, etc and import the files straight into your iPhone using an of the offline mp3 apps.
I’ve already explained to you how to play mp3 on iphone with the above tutorial using the offline music app and the cloud music player as they don’t require iTunes. Mostly I play mp3 files on my iPhone using this method because it is way too easy for me to import the files into my iphone.
